After drumming in indie screamo and dreampop bands, Darryl Schomberg II turned to creating electronic music as a form of expression. The new EP We Dissolve by Schomberg’s project Gleaming features expertly produced techno pop. Today I present the first single from We Dissolve, titled “Run Faster.”
Using electronica has given Schomberg a new palette with which to address a variety of emotional and relationship themes. The smart lyrics and compelling sounds, with classic synthpop influences and vibrant production from Iacopo Bigagli (live engineer for Kaelan Mikla), make We Dissolve worthy of repeated plays. Schomberg is an American artist, based in Austin, Texas.
